Bionic today unveiled Jaime, an AI-powered customer support agent who speaks every language and works 24/7 to help you with media planning and buying.

About Jaime

Jaime was “born” last year, July 2024, in Hanover, New Hampshire. She is named after Jaime Sommers, the Bionic Woman. Her birthplace is fitting since Hanover is where the term “artificial intelligence” was originally coined at Dartmouth in 1955.

Jaime was built by Jon York and Joe Pych. Jon built Jaime’s “brains” that enable her reasoning, logic, and communication skills. Joe built Jaime’s knowledge base and her ability to communicate with customers.

At first, Jaime did not interact directly with customers. Instead, she was limited to helping Bionic’s human customer success agents through internal comments on customer chat and email threads. This gave the Bionic team more than a year to observe Jaime’s behavior and to refine her abilities.

Now, in August 2025, after a year of iterative refinements and proving herself, Jaime was promoted to the front lines to interact directly with customers.

Previously, our live support hours were technically limited to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. US Eastern Time Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.  While we have always made accommodation to support customers outside official hours, these were special arrangements.

With Jaime, we now provide 24/7 live support. You can get immediate help from Jaime any time, day or night, on the weekend, in any time zone. She’s always on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year (or 366 days if it’s a leap year!).

Jaime Speaks Your Language

Previously, our customer support was limited to primarily English. Although we did our best to accommodate other languages, this has been difficult for us.

One of Jaime’s superpowers is speaking multiple languages.

While her primary language is English, Jaime can communicate with you in most other languages including Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, Bengali, Portuguese, French, Arabic. She can even speak unusual languages to varying degrees, like Esperanto or Klingon.

Jaime can also handle mixed-language conversations. You can switch language mid-discussion, and she will translate between them.

Jaime Works with the Customer Success Team

Jaime does not work on her own island.

Jaime works on Bionic’s Customer Success Team alongside human team members. Just like any other team member, she has a boss, responsibilities, and her work is supervised by others.

She is assigned work and performs her assignments just like others on the customer success team. She doesn’t like to brag, but in the past year she’s closed more customer support tickets than the rest of the team combined.

If you are interacting with Jaime and not satisfied with her service, you can simply ask for a human agent and one of Jaime’s human teammates will take over.

If you ask Jaime a question she can’t answer, she will ask her human colleagues for help.

When you work with Jaime, you are working with Bionic’s entire Customer Success Team.

Jaime Is Constantly Learning

Like all of us, Jaime is not perfect. However, she is a committed lifelong learner.

Jaime’s knowledge increases every day. She learns from her interactions with you and picks up new knowledge every day. She gathers unique knowledge from our website, our knowledge base, and our customer database.

Please be patient with Jaime. If she can’t answer a question today, chances are good she’ll be able to answer it tomorrow.

  • Pinecone – vector database.
  • LangChain – AI orchestration and monitoring.
  • HubSpot – Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Customer Success Team Collaboration.
